SAD!!!
The saddest thing about these pictures is that he isn't crying because he got hurt or because he didn't get his way. He is crying because I startled him. I stubbed my toe really hard... YELLED and then hit the couch with my hand a few times (as you do after you stub your toe). Then I noticed the look on Scotty's face that soon turned to sobs. I tried to hold him, kiss him, smile at him... but he kept crying. I felt so bad for scaring him that I got a little teary eyed myself.
Mommy needs to remember that how she acts doesn't only affect her anymore.
Oh, that is so sad. I think all of us moms have done that at least a few times to each child.
